Before we begin to design a network, we’ll work with you to understand three things:

Building on this understanding, we’ll work closely with you to set out a clear requirements specification – and we’ll make sure we understand both your budget and your critical success factors.
Designing and building a network
Once we understand your requirements, we’ll design and cost a network. Where you’ve got existing assets, we’ll look to build on them, and our flexibility means we’re not locked into any single architecture, technology supplier or way of working.
We’ll work with you to agree the network design, reflecting emerging requirements. Then we’ll provide a detailed project build plan and work with your team to build the network. We use PRINCE2 project management methodology and all our project managers are qualified PRINCE2 practitioners.
We’ll also agree a clear service level agreement (SLA) so you’ll know exactly what we’re committed to.
Keeping it going
For most of our clients we provide a full managed service. We take care of routine maintenance and, through our 24/7 network operations centre (NOC), keep a close watch on performance. Updata networks typically achieve [99.99%] uptime and, with our field operations team, if things do go wrong we’re there to get you back up and running.
We also recognise that, to ensure you’re providing the best service to your users, you need to know how the network is being used. We provide regular updates about performance and usage, and we’ll work with you to develop your network over time.
