Updata’s Internet Access provides a highly resilient, low latency Internet service far removed from standard business broadband services. We offer customers a robust and uncontended high speed connection directly onto the Internet backbone. With high quality Internet connectivity now critical for most organisations, service reliability and cost effectiveness are key considerations that are beyond the reach of traditional ISPs.

Delivered via our national network, the Updata Internet Access service has been specifically designed to achieve maximum resilience, with no single point of failure within our core, allowing the service to meet the high availability demanded by organisations. This network, coupled with a range of access technologies, enables Updata to offer the right amount of bandwidth at the right price point. Service availability at mission critical sites can also be enhanced through access resilience as required.  

The Updata Internet Access product is usually combined with the Updata Cloud product to deliver a myriad of internet management capabilities including Updata Filtering, Updata DNS and Updata Intrusion Protection to name but a few. Through our innovative use of MPLS technology, we are able to offer a truly converged service, supporting multiple products including Updata Voice and other Updata Connect capabilities, which can offer in excess of 50% savings over the traditional approach of individual circuit delivery.
