Updata’s Private Network services use MPLS (Multi Protocol Label Switching) technology to create customised, high speed Private WAN solutions, capable of supporting multiple services, network stakeholders and access technologies.

‘Virtual Cloud’ Private networks can be provisioned utilising Updata’s existing MPLS national core network, whereby significant cost savings can be achieved through utilising the existing core infrastructure with our wide choice of access technologies. Updata’s Virtual Cloud networks are designed specifically to offer all the features and benefits of dedicated WAN infrastructure.

Alternatively, Updata can provision dedicated regional MPLS WAN infrastructures, capable of supporting multiple Virtual Private Network instances, each operating independently to the other. The ability to share a physical infrastructure securely between separate services, local partners and other organisations can make the dedicated core investment an extremely cost effective proposition.
