Updata’s Direct Network Service Providers (DNSP) service provides secure, resilient Public Services network (PSN) access to the Government Conveyance Network (GCN) for public sector customers. As a DNSP, Updata complies with the Code of Interconnection (CoICo) required to access the PSN.
Delivered via Updata’s national network and utilising various access technologies to create the best fit service, the Updata DNSP service provides customers with secure, resilient access to the PSN. The service has been specifically designed to grow with the PSN framework as it matures, allowing customers to increase their bandwidth requirements in line with their PSN planning.
With the overlay of Updata’s MPLS service, customers can achieve a truly converged service and make cost savings in excess of 50% over the traditional approach of individual circuits. This is achieved by combining the delivery of Updata PSN DNSP with other products, such as Updata Voice, within the Updata portfolio. The MPLS technology utilised ensures that Impact Level 2 (IL2) compliance is maintained on the access infrastructure all the way down to the customer edge.
