Evolution not Revolution – from PSN to PSN

Although the PSN is often discussed as if it were a new concept for Local Government and Health, customers in both sectors have been successfully running high performance public sector networks or 'psn's for years, so the shift to the ‘PSN’ (Public Services Network) is not as radical as might first appear. However, the emergence of the PSN offers exciting new opportunities in terms of innovation and market transparency, as well as presenting new challenges in terms of compliance and governance. However, to achieve the full potential from PSN, the reality is that the network remains the key.
